If you're interested and have free time, PM me or reply to this thread if you want to help creating custom hacks for a new Harry Potter board coming soon!
Will be using vBulletin 2.3.5 when the boards will be up! You'd have plenty of time to set the hacks up, because the board will be opening in May, 3 months before the next book comes out! You can even be part of the staff if you'd like. ![]() I can't pay you, but you'll be part of a nice Harry Potter boards. Recommended for those interested! |

Is there a specific hack you're using vb2 for, or is that the only one you have available?
Also, you might want to change that to 2.3.6 starting today :P |

I'm using vBulletin 2 because plainly I don't like vBulletin 3, and I've been using 2 for two years so I'm too used to it.
I think I have a version of 2.3.0 somewhere, I find the earlier versions more vb2 hacking compatible. :-p But i'll use 2.3.6 probably when the board launches. |

Honestly, what don't you like in vBulletin 3?
IMHO it is much better from the coding. |

I just find vBulletin 2 easier to customize, mainly because I have more experience with it.
All boards I've worked with use vBulletin 2, all custom styles I've helped make at the boards I work at are for vBulletin 2. Guess you can call me old fashioned, I don't want to make the move. vBulletin 3 has some nice features, but I'm sticking to 2. |
