I learned php like i said, by reading vBulletin sources, sometimes searching in he php helpfile, and very ocasionally looking for a more "tut" like page on the web. That is all there is to it.

Bottom line is, that it should not be the task of vBulletin staff to write "tut"s on general php language. If you know the language, vBulletin sources are fairly easy to read, and if you have any problem left, people are always willing to help you further here in the forums.
