What WAMP software on your localhost ?

Just wondering what you folks are using to aid in your own hack development or to run of a test board on localhost ?

Don't have LAMP.. Have WAMP.

Apache 2.0.52, PHP 4.3.10 and PHP 5.0.3 and MySQL 4.1.8 on port 80.

IIS 6.0, PHP 5.0.3 and MSDE and MySQL 4.1.8 on port 180.

Do you install them individually ?

Or use those packaged types ( like the one where you are listed as a user ) ?

Haven't used the one you linked to above in years, but it is probably as good as any other.

I was using apachefriends previously, but I was annoyed about the program showing in the task bar with no means to minimize it to system tray.

I personally install them individually. I got frustrated when phpdev stopped being developed, and since then I've found it far easier to manually upgrade each package

That's my setup. I install them individually, because I like to live on the edge, and not all of these packaged softwares update as fast as the softwares are (AFAIK).
Besides, I have everything running as smooth as I want it to:

• Everything runs in the bg, constantly (I don't have to shut on and off all the time)
• No clutter on taskbar/systray

I use WAMP5, with Apache 2.0.50, PHP 5.0.2, and MySQL 4.0.22. It runs well for me.
