Description: A feature no vBulletin board should be without! This for the administrators and others users on your board to secure your's and their access in the event of banning accident or incase a rogue user or hacker accesses your admincp they will not be able to ban Ip addresses you have specified(in your /includes/config.php) via vBulletin AdminCp. Also for further security you set the Ip addresses that are unbannable in your /includes/config.php file.

For those already who already installed i made a typo(won't affect your site or the hack) in the /includes/config.php edit

Instead of using:

//****** UNBANNABLE IP ADRESSES ******
//The IP adresses specified here will not be bannable via vBulletin Admin Control Panel by anyone.
//To specify more than one IP, separate IP's with commands(,).
$unbannable_ips= 'xx.xxx.xxx.xx,xx.xxx.xxx.xx';

use:

//****** UNBANNABLE IP ADRESSES ******
//The IP adresses specified here will not be bannable via vBulletin Admin Control Panel by anyone.
//To specify more than one IP, separate IP's with commas(,).
$unbannable_ips= 'xx.xxx.xxx.xx,xx.xxx.xxx.xx';

notice i put commands in the original instead of commas, told you it was tiny

I tried this (nice added security) and it doesn't work. I banned my IP, and was unable to get to the forums, becasue I was banned. DOH!

did you place it correctly?

also did you set the unbannable ips in your config.php file?

Will this support making an IP range, like 64.12.10., unbannable? Or would I need to explicitly list all 256 possible IP's?

i dont think it supports IP ranges yet but i can look into it
