Registration Requirement and Usergroup

I am setting up a forum in which I would like to split up the forums. Since it is a predominatly Christian board I'd like to basically identify one group as Christian, the other as non Christian. This would help me a great deal in managing some discussion.

Basically at registration I would like to give them a required selection.

They pick from a drop down box

I am an:
Athiest
Agnostic
Baptist
Roman Catholic
whatever...etc...

Natrually I would be able to edit those to say whatever I want in a simple manner, and depending on what they choose it will Assign them into the usergroup of "Christian" or "Non Christian"

Also i'd like the same thing to appear in thier profile options that way should they decide to become a non christian or Christian they may do so and have the same thing happen.

Also, if your feeling up to it, perhaps you can set up an image system that would assign them an icon so that each person/group may be easily identifiable on the forums.

I think this could come in handy for many.
