Censorship - Word Replacement Instead of *.

Hi, is it possible for anyone oto create a hack whereby you can censor words so they appear as other words?

Example

Dog -> AOL
Cow -> Animal
Another Word -> ******* ****

Easiest way to do this is to use Replacement Variable manager instead of the word censor.

Works brilliantly, and also not just in posts but ANYWHERE on the site.

Replacement variables are not the way to go, as it replaces any occurrence of the characters you specify, even if they occur in HTML (e.g., a URL) or Javascript.
