Colin F's hack works exactly as you want it, it's in Beta iirc but with a few little modifications i got it to work for a customer once.

With forum subscription emails and colins hack it's mainly a question of installing and setting everything up correctly, but not a problem of coding.

Once you bought vb and prooved your license status you can open a service request and there will be surely someone to help you on that issues.
