Here is a summary/breakdown list of what I will need done, It shouldn't be too difficult.

1. I want to run the dating system as a part of the site. There will be profile fields required upon registration.

2. There will be a category in the forums called "Adult Personals" or whatever I decide to name it, then it will have each USA state listed under it as a sub-cat.

3. The forum view will be slightly different then the rest of the areas on the site. I want it to have the following columns. "Listing Title", "User Summary", and thumbnail.

4. When they ad a new listing, it will not look like the rest of the newthread pages site, instead it would have the following fields "My profile title:", "Birthdate: (have it auto-filled in), Age: (auto filled in), Eye Color: (drop down), Hair Color (drop down), I am we/are: (radio buttons for, strait, bi-sexual, gay, couple, bi-sexual couple,etc.), Looking for: (check boxes, 1-on-1 encounter, Discreet Relationship, Cyber Sex, Phone Sex, Naughty Email Exchange, Fetishes, BDSM, Other. Then have "About Me:" and then have "What I am looking for:", then have Photos & Video upload.

5. On the showtread, it would have its own custom layout for this area too, and then it would work just like the rest of the site, with the replys, accept in the postbit for the replies, it would have the persons Name, link to their profile (if they have a thread in the adult personals section), or actually make them add their listing before they can respond to other peoples listings. Then have their breif summary in the postbit (very brief, off to the left), and of course, whatever they typed or attached to the right.

6. Each user can edit his listing, instead of it saying edit thread it would say Modify My Listing.

7. when sunset is completed, have an integration between this hack and sunset so that each user can have his/her user gallery linked to their listing.

8. The rest of the site would function as a normal vbulletin installation should, just this area to be different. I have seen something similar done like this with a product buy/sell/trade area on paintballcity.com (they used to run off of vb2) for some reason they dissapeared after getting vbulletin board of the month.

also..

Maybe have it so contact information such as instant messengers and email isnt displayed accept in their listing and their replies to other members. Might want to make it so if someoine sends a reply its like sending them a NOTE or a "wink" letting them know they are interested. And it should only be visible to the listing owner and the person who has posted. Maybe have a hot list button, where someone can add them to their hot list, and have the hot list as a part of the navigation in the nav bar... Have "My Personals Listing" and "Edit My Listing", and "View Hot List" as a part of the nav bar IF they have a listing, if they do NOT, have a link to add a personals listing, depending on their state code (so it would take them to the proper add-listing page.
