Usergroup to not show in active numbers?

I have a custom usergroup set up for deactivated accounts. We do not want them to reflect in the active members number. I turned off the option to show in the memberlist already, but need it to reflect in the numbers as well.

I asked at vbulletin.com and Jake said: That would require modifying the build_user_statistics() function in the includes/functions_databuild.php file.

Reason is for voting purposes. A % of the members voting is a requirement and that's why we need to know active number numbers only.

Not sure what to change - Thanks in advance
