i also am looking to do something similar. by user group permissions, you can disable the memberlist and member search by setting Can View Member Info = No.

raskolnikov, that may handle your needs.

but, i would like to prevent access to the Member List and Member Search, without taking away access to the user profiles, which also gets disabled when Can View Member Info is set to no. any suggestions on how to allow viewing profiles, but not the member list / member search by user group?
