alternate thread title colour for bumped/old threads?
I'm wondering if this hack exists or not. I did a search and I can't seem to find anything.
I'd like a hack that allows members to be able to identify older or bumped threads from a thread list simply by the colour of the title. (alternately, an icon could appear next to the thread title.) The thread colour could be applied to bumped threads that were started more than x days ago, where x can be determined in the admin cp. anyone up for the task? much thanks, leesa |

Relax. I get ignored all the time too. There are no stupid questions...
So what exactly is the test for applying this color? Older than N days I understand, but what is the definition of "bumped" in your opinion -- how would you test for it? |

OMG A REPLY!
:surprised: i guess the hack would have to look at the first X (let's say 5) posts and determine their age. it would then look at the last post to determine that it was indeed bumped. i really don't know, i'm not a hacker but my forum relies heavily on archives and newbies coming in and commenting on archived threads so it would be extremely useful for my forum, maybe for others too, i dunno....but i do appreciate your reply! leesa |
