New Thread template?
Not sure how hard this would be to do but for my site it would be very helpful.
What I would like is a way to pre-format a new thread for my users. What that means is that when a user selects the new thread button for a particular sub forum a template would be used to pre-fill in the message section of the new thread. For example is I have a sub forum that is used for posts regarding help desk support, when the user selects new thread the message area would already have the following Department: Application: Problem: All they would do is fill in the appropriate sections. As well would like it so that each sub forum could have its own template? Any idea how hard this would be to do?... or if someone has already done something like this? |
