Thread content inclusion in email notification
Hi,
I'm the group administrator for our forum but I'm not familiar with code etc. I'd like to know if there is a way to include a portion or all of the text of a new thread in the email notifictaion that we currently receive for new threads? From an admin point of view, we distribute all new threads to the most appropriate person and currently we need to follow the link in the email to the forum to read the thread. It would be a great time saver if we could read the subject and content in the email with out having to go to the board first. Hope this makes sense. Cheers Jim |

I think what pie is referring to, is the email you receive if you subscribe to a thread on vbulletin.org ......it contains the text of the latest post and a link to the thread. I looked in AdminCP under "Scheduled Tasks" and then "Subscriptions" and the file which handles it is ./includes/cron/subscriptions.php |
