All im trying to do is add the number of referrals a user has to the postbit template. I know it is just a little code to enter...can anyone help?

In a users posts I want the info:

Location
Posts
Referrals

the location and posts works (obviously it is standard) but im new to this and just would like help on what to add after the posts part to show number of referrals.

Any help is appreicated.

If you are using a version of vb that old ... i would only suggest that you upgrade as there are many security issues there

2.3.4 is a stable release. It's secure until the next flaw is found - just like vB3

I wanted to also add the # number of referrals this poster had so I added the following between Location and posts

Referrals: $post[referrals]<br>

This was following the other info - now if i change [referrals] to other things (username,joindate etc) they all work - just referrals doesnt - I think the name for the # of referrals is $referrals so I assume that [referrals] should indicate the number of referalls the post username has.

any help?
