I realize that there is already an integration designed by the Hivemail team, but it seems rather inadequate for many purposes. If I shouldn't be posting this request here I do apologize, just curious if it is something anyone has done or plans on doing for the new release of Hivemail and vb3. Below is a post of what I am talking about and is a copy and paste from a post I made on the Hivemail forums. Thanks.

Along with this it would be nice when installing Hivemail it had a question whether your want vb integration. At which point it could create usergroups based off of the vb usergroups. You could then go into the control panel of Hivemail and edit those usergroups the way you like (obvioulsy). Also, it could place people in the Hivemail usergroup that corresponds to the usergroup they are in for vb. Every hour or so a cron job could make sure the Hivemail user is in the correct usergroup based off of what group they are in with respect to vb.
While I would be willing to pay a little to have this done, I assumed that this is the way it worked when I bought it. You know what they say about assuming, it is the mother of all...you know. Anyway, then those in just the regular Registered group could not have a Hivemail e-mail account unless it is permitted in the Registered usergroup of Hivemail. With the cron job it would for the most part take care of itself. I definitely don't want people getting an e-mail account as soon as they sign up. It is something they can do later...when they are allowed to and/or when they want to register for something else, albeit much simpler with the integration.
I am extremely hesitant in even installing Hivemail until an integration similar to what I described above is done. Please consider it. I don't know PHP or MySQL, but it doesn't sound that hard to implement and I think it would work quite well.
