Quick Reply Box for 2.3.3?

Ok I'm having a little trouble with this coding...

I've attached my current showthread.php document and what it looks like but it does not seem to be working. Not sure what could be wrong.

Also where it asks to create a new template by the name "showthread_replybox" do I just create a new document in Dreamweaver, add the content, save it as showthread_replybox.php and then upload it to the same directory as the showthread.php?

It also asks to insert $replybox after a certain code in showthread.php but could not find that piece. Could it be that I'm running 2.3.3?

You're not allowed to post full vB files. Please remove the attachment.

Also, you create templates in the template section of the admin cp (Admin CP->Template->Modify)

And you need to edit the showthread template, not the file.

Ok I found and opened the template, but the first step in the instructions where it asks me to replace the code twice, can not be found using the find feature. Any help on this?

Try shorting the string your want to find (IE, using something rather than <somecode>something</morecode> )

I did;

For example the instructions asks;
"1. In showthread.php find this bit of code both times!:
// ##################################################
if (!$getperms['canviewothers'] and ($thread['postuserid']!=$bbuserinfo['userid'] or $bbuserinfo['userid']==0)) {
show_nopermission();
}"

So I typed in "if (!$getperms" for the find field and found nothing.

You need to edit the showthread.php file for that.
