Agreed, having many styles means many template sets
Not true. I used to think that also. Now I have 10 styles and 2 templates sets. Would only have one but I needed a second set as default for the url rewrite hack. Everything else is done with the replacement sets.

Agreed. I try to limit my template sets to One Set for all styles, when and if possible. Replacements are great in vBulletin, once a person gets the hang of them and use them effectively. This saves considerable amount of time when updating/installing hacks or even making minor template changes.
hmm, in vb3 this will be perfect, when you can just modify the header/footer template and nothing more to create a new style without changing every single template...
