I dont recomend stoping them, you will be robbing yourself of many hits.

The inktomi bots are owned by yahoo.com IIRC, yahoo is still using google to power its search engine..but with all the inktomi bots around now-a-days one can asume that this index is going to be very useful in the months and years to come.
