<font face="arial">Where is the $messagevariable called from that is referenced in the "newthread" template?

I can't find the right file, I've looked in newthread.php, in the templates, in the includes/functions_newpost.php...

Any helpers out there? </font>

The $messagevariable doesn't exist - must be a hack you have installed.

Shoot - I meant to type:

$messagearea - (not $messagevariable).

It is located in the newthread template in the templates table. Apparently, it is what calls a the WYSIWYG editor to input the new text of a message in a new post.

Doesn't exist either. Mind posting a screenshot where you see it in the template editor in the admin cp?

(Or, are you talking about vB 3?)

Sorry, I should have mentioned it - I'm using vB 3, and it's not in the template editor.

If you said you were using vB 3 from the start, then that would've been easier

Anyways, $messagearea is in includes/functions_newpost.php
