Custom New Thread for Forums

Something i've been trying to do for months now, and running into many problems with, so i'm asking if anyone knows how i can do this, or someone who would be willing to release this

heres my previous thread on it, i have others but they were ignored, i've tried editing newthread.php, with the code i posted in the last threads, but i ran into problems, so i'm asking if anyone will help or will release this, it's the same as whats done on vBulletin.org, so some should and indeed do know how to do this

In the templates, just use "newthread$foruminfo[forumid] (can't remember if it's $foruminfo or $forum, vB is the king of inconsistency) as the image src for the new thread button. Then make buttons following that filename convension.

heh i know how to do that, thats childs play, but what i am trying to do, is to change the post new thread screen and the showthread screen for a certain forum, so i can add more stuff, for example, vbulletin.org is running this in the hack releases forum, i want to add new fields above and below subject and reply and to alter those things, like it says in the link i showed

Whoops, thought you meant changing the buttons. Just change in newthread.php and showthread.php which template gets eval'ed at the every end, then add a new template. Don't forget to add the template to $templatesused.

well i put

and i can alter the newthread template with the new template newthread_submissions in the second forum, one problem i have is that i don't know what i need to do after i've added the needed tables to the database

bump, i am still getting mysql problems with this, it's been a few months, and i am still having problems with this, no matter what i have tried
