Default ensim users help
okay a friend of mine just got a dedicated server from rackshack and hes hosting me for free but he doesnt know how to use the admin panel (just basics) so can any of you ensim users tell me how to setup 2 mysql dbs and add subdomains? so i can tell him cos he doesnt know shizzle :P

If he's a rebel he can just SSH in and use mysqladmin to do stuff. If you install PMA with MySQL root rights, do your stuff, and then delete it, that would work too.

i can't get ssh to work right or something, i downloaded Putty and i can use my username/pass for the ftp but evertime i use it with the ssh it just says access denied...any ideas?

The host might have to enable SSH first.

I run a RS server with ensim. Log into the appliance administator, under services, look for this link; Configure MySQL Database / phpMyAdmin

what smothie said and as for subdomains ur looking at some long and tedious hacking

register at www.rackshack.net `s forums theres a million and 1 How to`s etc in there that will happily answer your questions

Ensim doesn't allow you to create subdomains straight away IIRC.
