but wouldn't 102 queries put a lot of load on your server? especially if you had lots of users?
what's genial and klasse mean and how long have you been learning english? |

@colicab: that doesn't make any sense sorry
![]() @mr e: yes normally it is as you said. i don't remember the queries exactly. of course they weren't that well coded as vb2's but sometimes even a lot queries could be better than just a few bad ones.. hmm, genial and klasse also mean spitze. I think these words can't be translated directly. They are no real synonyms but most of the time you can use them in a synonymious (?) way. well i had english in school for about 7 year, but always had female teachers, and i didn't like female teachers ![]() @erwin: i've looked at the code a bit. there is less code, so also less security holes as vb200 ![]() of course there are some of the old ones, but AFAI rembember not to much serious ones. |

I know 1.1.3 Beta had exactly 102 quesries from looking back at the vbulletin.org archives. So 1.1.2 should've had about the same.

it's nice to see these old threads become popular again
![]() @colicab: "verdehen" doesn't exist. did you mean "verdrehen"? @mr e: hmm, it doesn't make sense, in english you said something like: "they were female dogs". I don't know if this is a often used english expression, but in german it doesn't make sense ![]() hmm we're going a bit off topic i think ![]() |

@Xenon, sorry, one more thing, how would you describe a woman that was mean and you wanted to call her something bad? in english it would be translated as a somewhat derogatory term
back on subject, how long ago was the first vb out? and what version was it? |

@xenon probably lol i think it was the word for pervert or so i was told lol
hmm need to have a look at the vb archive, as for vb 1.1.x why dont some folk here go thru it and make its a little more secure / better written. No additional functions to it etc just make it safe and a little better coded.. could be fun for a week or 2 to have a crack at it ![]() |
