Thread Title Update
Hi,
I released a new version of a hack in the Beta forum, and although I edited the thread, the title does not seem to want to change in the forum view. In this case, vbProArcade Beta 1.03 should become vbProArcade Beta 2 I recall having this same problem in one of my forums once, as well. What is the secret to getting the title to update (other than directly querying the database, which is how I fixed mine)? If a mod could fix it for me, that would be excellent. Thanks! |

Steve has renamed it
also there is an option in your Acp called: "Time limit on editing of thread title" that's where you can change the timespan to edit the threadtitle via the first post. also directly querieing the DB is not needed, just go to edit-thread (in the open/close menu)there you can edit the title |

The problem I mentioned on my own sites was actually using the admin options to edit the thread title. The title of the first post itself would change, but the old title would still be the one showing up in forum view.

Changes in users names are also not updated.
Of course the lacking of title update is more severe (in fact it's really odd, when you change a thread title and it's not showing in the forum). Is there hope that this will be fixed by the publisher? |
