change the number of smilies per page

I have loads of smilies and some are animated which means that my server simply cannot handle loading them all onto one page.

Does anyone know how to make this hack?

In fact how about making a full hack for this , since everyone uses smilies.

I was thinking that you could offer the smilies to be displayed ramdomly and an option to choose which smilies were displayed in the Post page in an admin area.

Also would be a setting in the admin area to decide how many smilies would appear on that Get More smilies page before seperating the pages.

For example: If you had 400 smilies
You choose to display them ramdomly and to set a limit to 50 smilies per page.

This would give you 8 pages displaying ramdom smilies - rather than 400 on one page in the same order.

This would be a good hack to have.

Does anyone know of a hack like this or know how to go about making one?
