Easy and dumb question!
Hi.
dumb question. I am fetching some content (lets call it news) from mysql, i have two variables, one gets the title and the other gets the content. they are: $content[morelink] = $row[11]; $content[moretext] = $row[12]; now, the problem is i have some html with the variables, and if there is nothing in the database i don't want it to still put in the html into the page, so say i have $content[moretext] = $row[12] xyz; and there is nothing in $row[12] to display i don't want xyz to be include into the page.. hope this makes sense. last question, what is the most accurate way to count words, not letters.. right now i am using str_word_count() but the results aren't very accurate, sometimes it reports 19 words and other times 20. any suggestions? |

okay thanks for nothing, didn't think the question was that hard.. or maybe i did not explain myself too well
anyhow, i solved both problems .. and made a very accurate word counter and it doesn't even count html! |
