Locked out from vB.com? (vB3 bug or ban?)
Actually, this topic has nothing to do with hacking, and I'm not sure whether or not this is the right place for it, but I thought I could as well ask about this.
After the installation of vB3 at the vbulletin.com forum, I noticed that I had been locked out from everything that a normal user could do. It seemed as if I was a guest, so I checked my email, and I remembered that I had switched it. I simply changed the email in the members' section to match my new one, and this affected absolutely nothing. I'm starting to think that I have been banned, although I have done nothing careless or disrespecting (at least to my knowledge ). Either way, I'm wondering what could be causing this? I tried to ask the same question in the vB.com "pre-sales" forum, which allows non-licensed user access, but I got a no permission message there as well. I should probably email their support and ask, but I thought I could as well post it here, as it most certainly seems like a bug, at least from my point of view. |

Delete all cookies in your browser, log in again, and see. You may have a corrupted cookie.

Email vB.com admin and see if they can help.

I got it activated. Apparently, I had ended up in the email activation usergroup, even though I've been a member since January.
