A Confusing Puzzle for a PHP newb (VB Related)
Unfortunitely I'm switching servers and it's really nice. But I have over 1200 members on my VB. The problem is I do not have access to telnet and I want to bring over the members and posts. So is there like a manual or something or could someone please tell me how I do this?

Can't you just backup your database through the admin CP and then load it in your new forums?

If you don't have telnet/SSH access on the new server, then you may find it very difficult to move you database, if you don't have access you have two main options, ask you host to import it for you as you don't have SSH access, or (if this hack works, it doesn't for all hosts, HostRocket for example) use the database backup/restore hack by Birdie501.
