I am thinking of getting VB and noticed most of the hacks are designed for 2.2.6 and the latest VB version is 2.2.8. Will the hacks work with no problems on 2.2.8?

They should sense 2.2.7 and 2.2.8 are just bug fixes and secirity fixes.

In fact, you'll find that most hacks for 2.x.x will work for 2.2.8 - the problem is that the code you find to be replaced is different - you just need to know where to look and what to change.

If a hack is popular enough, people will post replies saying what needs to be changed so the hack works with that particular version of vBulletin
