user profiles
Hi All,
what i am requiring i am not even sure its a hack or not. basically i have added some profile fields that i would like only admins and mods to see, and that is cool but i would like them to appear on the member.php bit of my forums, and i am guessing a hack is required for this right? but i dont want every one to see them obviously so its not just a case of changing the sql, yes i have looked at the file I hope someone knows what i am talking about and do this hack for me if it is a hack that is |

You can already do this without a hack in standard vB2.
In your admin cp, when you create a custom user profile, just choose not visible to members, but visible to staff only. It works. |

no i tried and i asked on vb.com (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...&postid=334096) you have to go to the control panel to see the hidden fields, they do not get added to the members.php page for those who can see them.

You're right actually - oops. I use hidden profiles like that when I ban members - I put in the reason. Yeah, it's a hack of member.php
