Log IP of new member when they register?
I have noticed that IP's for members don't get logged until after they post once, is there a way to have the IP's logged when they first register? It is a pain when trying to keep trouble makers out who come to lurk and don't post so they don't get caught... any ideas? Has this been done or is it something impossible to do? Thanks guys!

I'm sure if you go into your admin cp and find their profile it already log's their IP address mate.

Where exactly? I go to Users, type a name of a user with 0 posts then go to view user IP and there is nothing there, if I do it with a member with 1 post, their IP is there....

Strange, on my board as soon as they sign up there IP is logged. Maybe there is a bug? What version are you using?

Try uploading your original registration and admin CP files.

1- When they register, vb saves their IP in user table even if they dont post.
2- Try Who Might This new User be? hack to relieve your pain |
