Re-installing 3.8.4 can I recover....
Admincp corrupted. Provider and I cannot fix. Tried a backup install and other methods. I am going to re-intall vb 3.8.4 after deleting all databases and files.
I have a backup on pc of forums from several months ago. Can I recover from that the members and just the form threads and posts. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions! Warren |

You'd be far better off installing 3.8.11. It contains a number of security upgrades over 3.8.4.
There are methods of importing single tables from one database to another. There is, however, no guarantee that those are not also corrupted. |

Thank you for your reply In Omnibus!
I went to vbulletin to purchase 3.8.11 it was not available. I'm pretty sure only the admincp files were corrupted, I will do a search for how to upload those other files. I'm wondering if there is a way to start your forums from the provider side bypassing the admin control panel.... |

I would suggest you to stick with 3.8.4 and restore the site first, later you decide it from there. |
