Hello all.
![]() For some reason just my administrator account, and all accounts linked to mine, do not show the new posts, new threads, group, blog and cms updating. It freezes and I have to go to the admin control panel and click Purge Cache in the Forum Blocks Manager to update my view of the forum blocks to show everything new. I have cleared my browser cache and logged in on multiple browsers but the issue seems to be attached to just my accounts. Any thoughts on what I should look at or why this is happening? |

Forum blocks are cached by default.
If you go to the forum blocks manager and edit a block, you will be able to set the cache to 0 to disable the caching of that specific block. |

Thank you so much Dave. I changed everything to 0 and I am good to go now. Much appreciated.

I advise you to not set them to 0 though, it causes a lot more load on your forums if you have a lot of visitors. Even changing it to 1 minute will lower your load already.

So you are advising that I set them to 1 or is there a range that won't cause too much of a load?

If the data in the forum block doesn't change that often, increase the cache time. If it changes all the time, every 5/10 seconds for example, change it to 1 minute.
