Don't really want my "images" file totally overwritten by this.... Custom style should have custom-named images folder. I've named this one 'modernvB' on my install and did NOT just upload your images folder to overwrite - this is going to screw up some people's default vB style.

Well honestly one could just re-upload the default images but I haven't had enough coffee today yet to be doing all that (if I were not me and just a typical owner, not enough coffee lol).
Hasaan I would just edit the stylevars for image folders and double-check template edits for any references to the new images files in default locations. I simply threw them all into a folder /images/modern_2016/ and made some adjustments.

On this you already know to just remove those references if not required or include the correct files in the style files if permission to re-distribute is yours.
Overall decent looking style, like the navbar look reminds me of XF. I look forward to seeing the few issues fixed and seeing how this will turn out .
Edit: Suggestion - Create some new forum icons, make them just a single colored image (no background with rounded corners) and then use custom css to add the background with rounded corners - I think it would make this style "pop" and with the rounded corner frame boxes around forumhome content and around last post by I think it would draw it all together more aesthetically.

I'm pretty sure (assuming really) the designer is calling these for a reason, and simply forgot to include the clientscript file in the package.

Agreed, and it also plays nice with custom add-ons. Also looks simple to customize, with fewer stylevars called in CSS than most custom styles we see.
Ohh now that I didn't see! I only navigated so far after install but off to check now .

Mannnnnnn you've been out of the game for a while... or playing elsewhere (lol) so simple mistakes like this are okay since you literally just came back from being gone so long! Like I said prior, looking forward to this .
