I've never actually used this feature... If someone is on this do their posts completely not show or can people read them if they click a link like regular ignore?
Actually the staff only sees the message, "The administrator has decided that (username) be quiet for awhile" or some such. They don't see the posts.
A user who is in "Coventry" need only view the forum while not logged in, to discover none of his/her posts are appearing. If they stay logged in, they will see their own posts, like normal.
I've always wanted to create a mod that I call "steel cage match", which would be like putting multiple people "Coventry", except that they could see each other's posts (and of course staff could see as well, for entertainment purposes).

Well, it will be in four months that it's nine years, and still the occasional post occurs. However, I'm in the process of dispensing with my forums, so perhaps the new owner will update this once in a while.
