Using the default, in all browsers the Forum users describe only getting a grey horizontal band and a url link beneath it.

Using an alternative found in a vB 5 thread, I've used

<iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url={param}&color=0066cc"></iframe>

(Height reduced to 80)

Works perfectly for me in Firefox and Chrome (Tablet) - but users say it is even worse than the original in IE.

Does anyone have a solution that works across all browsers?

Try adding this to your HTML replacement:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1" />

Note: I have not tested this, but thought it worth a try.

Works for me - let's see what the important people say

Edit: Just noticed it's the first coding that shows a visible picture in the Replacement column of the BB Manager, instead of a grey mass ... (Which must be a good sign !!!!)

I am informed that this code doesn't work across all browsers, and all members! It's a strange one, it works to some extent on vBulletin post-preview, but not once the post is saved.

Does anyone have a properly working all browsers version ?
