turn off the activity stream on profile page

I was trying to get help over at vb.com, but when I told them they way it should fix the issue, didn't they told me to me over...


So I am trying to turn off the activity stream on my users profile tab.

Now the following code was deleted from the MEMBERINFO template

 <div id="view-activitystream" class="<vb:if condition="$selected_tab == 'activitystream' OR $selected_tab == ''">selected_view_section<vb:else />view_section</vb:if>"> {vb:raw blocks.activitystream} </div>

a plugin was made with the following code

$_REQUEST['tab'] = 'visitor_messaging';

The forum cache was cleared. But the actviity stram is still on the profiles. So does anyone else know any fix for this issue.

Link to the problem, please? What hook location did you use for the plugin? Do you have visitor messaging enabled for your users?

And plugin was set to

Disable that plugin (the one you posted the code to) and install this mod:

Then go to AdminCP > Settings > Options > Innovative Default Profile Tab and select which tab you want to show by default.

Edit: Ohh hey whatever happened to login info so I could finally install that style for you? I never heard back . PM me about that I'm willing to help with a few things you need in an effort to make it up to you .

Ok I helped out Joshua and what we found out about that info shown in his screenshot was:

It was a plugin from the modification DB Tech Advanced User Tagging (Lite) that was adding in that data shown in the screenshots.

- AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager > *Scroll down to find plugins associated with advanced user tagging mod the plugin is now disabled "Member Info Profile Blocks".

The info is no longer showing as Joshua wanted it gone.
