Mobile Template Help
I have altered the following in phrases to include a better welcome message and adsense ad for my forum: notice_1_html.
The table looks fine on my iPad but not on my iPhone obviously. I can't find where to alter this just for my default mobile template and not effect my main forum theme. Any help would be appreciated.:erm: |

Go to Styles & Templates > Style Manager > then choose the Default Mobile Style.
Which one do you want to edit? Those are probably in two different places in the templates. You can run a search of the templates as well try putting in "notice" without the quotes in the box and search for that in the mobile style. The only way that you can actually look at the mobile style on your PC is to make sure the mobile style is viewable by ticking the box in front of it in the Style Manager and saving that if its not ticked. Then you can choose the style on your PC to view it better and do the next steps to find the code you need. Next Steps: 1. In your AdminCP go to Settings > Options > General Settings - scroll down and find "Add Template Name in HTML Comments" and tick yes and then scroll to the bottom and click "Save". 2. Now if you are using Firefox and I suggest that you do. Install an add-on called FireBug. you can also install FireBug in Chrome too I believe but you do not have everything that you have in Firefox. 3. Now view the site in your mobile style on your PC and then where you want these things to show on your mobile style right click in that space and choose "Inspect Element With FireBug". Make a note of the code that it shows. 4. Then close the FireBug box and right click on your page and choose "View Source". Now you should be able to use the "Find" feature to find that bit of code in the view source page and then look at the template names in green. Find the template you need to change in that manner. 5. Go back to the AdminCP style and find that template and make your changes. |

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it. Your post reminded me that notices are controlled through the admin panel now and I can add and edit permissions in there. It had been awhile since I played with that feature. Thanks again.
