"Page NotFound" Error in Default Mobile Style
Hello,
The default mobile style for my forums is as attached. Attachment 152080 In this style, when I mouse over the sub forums say - "Announcements" it shows : http://www.indusladies.com/forums/announcements/ but on clicking the landing link is : http://www.indusladies.com/forums//f...announcements/ and shows 'Page Not Found" error. How do I fix this? Also I would like to change the color of the blue band for the categories say -"Community Central", how and where do I do the css edits? Thanks in advance. |

Can you enable style switching so we can view the mobile style in a browser?
Additionally, you are not using the standard vbulletin URLs. Try disabling your URL rewrite modification (and .htaccess) and see if you still have the same problem. |

Hi Lynne,
yes we are using SEO URLs with vBSEO. RE: Try disabling your URL rewrite modification (and .htaccess) and see if you still have the same problem. Do you mean to say I could disable URL rewrite modification for the mobile style alone? Let me know how to do that? Further I do not want to disturb the existing live environment for desktop users. They need to have SEO friendly urls. --------------- Added [DATE]1426667571[/DATE] at [TIME]1426667571[/TIME] --------------- Hi Lynne, RE:Can you enable style switching so we can view the mobile style in a browser? This style is still in testing stage and we do not want this to be open to public. But I have raised support ticket in My account Dashboard at vbulletin.com with the necessary admin access to trouble shoot this. Appreciate if you could help me resolve this. Thanks. |

As far as I know, you cannot disable vBSEO for just one style.
You said you raised a support ticket, but I will warn you that the first thing they are going to do is to ask you to disable your vBSEO. |

Yes Lynne, you are right. vBSEO seems to be the cause for this issue. As mentioned earlier I do not want to mess up with the search optimizations already existing and the search traffic that am already getting because of vbseo, so disabling vbseo is not an option that am considering.
But how do I fix the issue with vbseo enabled, is there any particular settings in vbseo that I need to check. Appreciate your time and effort in answering to my queries. Thanks. |
