WYSIWYG and HTML
Hey guys. I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the WYSIWYG editor to maintain HTML if it is enabled. Currently if I enable HTML and stick it in the code view it displays properly but if I go back to edit it then it's back to BBCode. Any help is appreciated.

Hmmmm I'm not sure how to fix that if it does not work by installing a mod. Trying it on my site and when I click on the edit button I get neither a code view nor a html code view. See my attachment. I'm not sure how yours is going back to a code view. I'm using the default style, vB 4.2.2P1, and the built in HTML is enabled for that forum area. I used a HTML link to test with. Does your site look like mine when you use the html and then click Edit>Go Advanced? If not then there is possibly a problem with your style, or another plugin you have installed is causing some sort of conflict. If it does not look like that try making a test post in the default style and disabling your plugins globally and then trying again. On another note quite honestly unless you as the admin are the only person posting in that forum area I would not ever enable HTML in a forum area through the admincp. Instead if you must have HTML in posts use a mod that does it by usergroup instead so you can keep your board as safe as possible. |
