Deleting threads question
I am sure I should know how to do this, but yet it is probably the one thing I have not taught myself with Vbulletin.
I want to delete posts. Simple right? I have done it in the past - with the EXCEPTION being it was either a single post or an entire thread. So, I figured I would delete posts in a thread starting with the very first post. For example I would have 14 posts (so 2 pages) and begin with posts 1 through 7 and delete them. I know I messed up something because the other seven posts (7 to 14) were no longer there. I know this is probably the most dumbass question to ask, how do I go about deleting the first post without losing the following posts? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any replies. |

You deleted the OP post, that's what you did wrong. You take the OP post away and there's nothing there.

Well, the very first post in a thread, is the thread it's self. So by deleting that, all subsequent posts after it also get deleted.

I sort of thought maybe it was a feature I overlooked. I did see a mod that bumps post, but have to go look for it to see if it will do what I want it to!
Thanks again for the replies! |
