Hi guys, on VB 3.8.8 and I'm looking to reward some members that donated some $ recently to cover some site running costs.

Can anyone recommend something like a badge I can add to their profiles (manually is fine) or anything else?

Happy to pay a few bucks for something if there's nothing free.

If you create a new usergroup and add that usergroup as a secondary usergroup, then you can create a rank just for that usergroup and it will show up on their profiles.

OK thanks. I'm not currently using ranks so i'll read up on just what they are and give that a go. Ta for the advice

Most sites I have done that take/need donations have me set up a user group for them as well as a private area. Easy enough to do and you can give the group a cool name or something like VIP or Contributor.

It's also a good way to advertise for donations by offering the private area for those that contribute. You could even offer "extra" content in that area if you like..
