Default forum.php

I had to switch webhosting because my forums have been getting DDoSed. The new webhosting company did the installation of the new forums.

Now, when I go to any of my links, /forums/forum.php or when I go to ANYTHING, the file downloads rather than taking me to the directory URL link.

Why is it doing this? What is the error? I have searched all over for a fix to this error but I cannot find one. Someone please help?

Disable plugins via config if this fixes the problem

To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

PHP Code:
define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);
To enable plugins again just comment out the line
PHP Code:
//define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
if not leave plugins disable and upload the tools.php you will find this file in the do not upload folder of the vbulletin pack that you get from the members area

That code did not fix it, at all. Where would I upload the file?

If a php file is downloading instead of running, then the server isn't configured correctly. You should contact the hosting company.

What can this error be from, though? I do not want to reinstall my whole forums, reinstall vBulletin and lose everything I ever worked for.

Contact your host, and tell them what is going on, they have configured the server wrong.

Even it you were to start a whole new site, the same thing would happen.

I assume you have a copy of your database ?
Thats where "everything you ever worked for" lives.

The server isnt correctly set up to run php, once they fix that, you should be on your way.

I believe so. There is misconfiguration on the server side as it did happen to me on my VPS long time ago.
