I had to switch webhosting because my forums have been getting DDoSed. The new webhosting company did the installation of the new forums.
Now, when I go to any of my links, /forums/forum.php or when I go to ANYTHING, the file downloads rather than taking me to the directory URL link. Why is it doing this? What is the error? I have searched all over for a fix to this error but I cannot find one. Someone please help? |

If a php file is downloading instead of running, then the server isn't configured correctly. You should contact the hosting company.

What can this error be from, though? I do not want to reinstall my whole forums, reinstall vBulletin and lose everything I ever worked for.

Contact your host, and tell them what is going on, they have configured the server wrong.
Even it you were to start a whole new site, the same thing would happen. |

Thats where "everything you ever worked for" lives. The server isnt correctly set up to run php, once they fix that, you should be on your way. |

I believe so. There is misconfiguration on the server side as it did happen to me on my VPS long time ago.
