IPB converter to vbulletin - HTML instead of BB code

I just recently converted from IPB to vbulletin and i am still trying to get a hang of this forum.

When i transfered, all the posts, sections and members transfered with success.

The problem im having is the posts were transfered in html format.

Now every single post on the forum looks like this:



Is there a way to fix all posts automatically? or do i have to manually go 1 by 1 and redo the posts?

I appreciate any help.

Have you been getting any error emails sent to the email that is in the config.php file

I just checked and no i have not, is that bad?

Check root folder in FTP for a file called error_log. And no its not bad just ruling out if you are having any errors or warnings. Can we get a link to your site

error log just shows this:

the images don't exist because they are not yet uploaded to this forum.

The problem is when i transfered the sql database, the posts were transfered to vb in a html format which looks horrible as i have shown above in the first post.

If that is the only two errors, uploading them files will fix that problem at least

thanks for letting me know about that. So there is nothing i can do for now about the forum posts being all weird?

Edit your includes/config.php and add the following line, under the <?php at the top:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); 

Then check your posts, this is to rule out if there is a problem with your custom plugins if there is no problem there, then you can put the config back the way it was. You must edit your config with notepad++

I think ForceHSS is misunderstanding you, Sharingan means that he used a converter from IPB to vBulletin, but instead of BBCode it's showing pure HTML in the posts?
