Hi all

My board currently uses vbb 2.2.2. Now I thought of upgrading to vbb2.2.5 ut I don't want to loose all my members/posts, how do I go about to install the new board and import my old data ?

I noticed a tutorial on doing it with a hacked board, but cause of hacks I lost a few things I can't seem to get back (thread links in case of multiple pages inside a thread, forum descriptions, attachements to name a few)

So I would like to import only my members and posts, and then I'll just apply a ll the installed hacks again....

well, just download 2.2.5 and follow the instructions to upgrade, then.
since you don't mind losing your hacks, and re-installing them later,
the upgrade process uprades the forum software but retains your members, posts, etc..
you'll be better off doing so too! getting those features you lost back.
