Hi all
![]() My board currently uses vbb 2.2.2. Now I thought of upgrading to vbb2.2.5 ut I don't want to loose all my members/posts, how do I go about to install the new board and import my old data ? Tnx a lot ![]() |

I noticed a tutorial on doing it with a hacked board, but cause of hacks I lost a few things I can't seem to get back (thread links in case of multiple pages inside a thread, forum descriptions, attachements to name a few)
So I would like to import only my members and posts, and then I'll just apply a ll the installed hacks again.... |

well, just download 2.2.5 and follow the instructions to upgrade, then.
since you don't mind losing your hacks, and re-installing them later, the upgrade process uprades the forum software but retains your members, posts, etc.. you'll be better off doing so too! getting those features you lost back. good luck. ![]() |
