API & User reputation points
Hi,
Im looking to find out if there is some way or notification system that could be put in place when a vbulletin forum user reaches a certain user reputation milestone? For example if it was a 5 star system and each time a user reached 5 stars, would there be a way we could be notified of that users achievement via email or through an API? |

curdatron,
Hello - With custom coding something could definitely be setup on a VB 3.x or 4.x forum. With a VB 5.x forum I'd say it is likely but I haven't ever done it myself. This forum is for pre-sales questions so that is as specific as I will get. If you are a licensed customer please follow the instructions below so you can post in a forum where you might get more help. You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-Germany users click here) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status. The update of your account can take up to one hour. Thank you. |
