You can edit the options under the settings, OzzModz: Usergroup Legend Settings Complete Feature List
Frequently Asked Questions. Q. Why are all the groups / users are the same color? A. For those of you not familiar with, or have issue with html markup, here is a quick guide. Username HTML Markup. ACP --> Usergroups --> Usergroup Manager edit each usergroup, you will need to add the html to the two input fields found in the setting, Username HTML Markup. NOTE: Your field boxes won't be as wide as the ones in the image, I over-sized them for illustration purposes. The first field is the opening tag. The second field is the closing tag. These tags will be inserted around the user's username like this: Code:
[opening tag]username[closing tag] Code:
<span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span> <span style="text-decoration: line-through; font-weight:bold;"> </span> <span style="font-style: italic;"> </span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span> <span style="color: red;"> </span> First field Code:
<span style="color: Red;"> Code:
</span> First field Code:
<span style="color: Blue; font-weight: bold;"> Code:
</span> Q. Wait, I have different colored styles, it is very difficult to choose a color to work on them all, what can I do? A. Well then you should use this solution. It will take time to set up for each usergroup, but it's worth it. First off add this code to your additional.css templates for all your styles. In each style you can define a different color for each group. You can add more groups or change the names as you wish. Code:
.admin { color: #FF0000; font-weight: bold; } .moderator { color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold; } .supermod { color: #32CD32; font-weight: bold; } .registered { color: #802A2A; font-weight: bold; } .banned { color: #000000; text-decoration: line-through; font-weight: bold; } .group1 { color: #FF8000; font-weight: bold; } .group2 { color: #A020F0; font-weight: bold; } .group3 { color: #FFC0CB; font-weight: bold; } Example 1 First field Code:
<span class="admin"> Code:
</span> First field Code:
<span class="moderator"> Code:
</span> You can get a good list of colors here, Color Codes The first screenshot is of the settings in the acp. The second screenshot is of the legend in the What's Going On area. The third screenshot is of the legend, when it is displayed in the locations, Forumhome Above Forums, Forumhome Below Forums, and Forumhome Below NavBar. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you like this mod please hit the button to the right ----> Please remember to click the, button to the right if you installed the mod ----> What does 'Marking As Installed' do ? * It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available. * For security issues - vBulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention. * Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications. I've installed this, and it shows the correct styling for the staff of the site, but any other group is the wrong colour and style.
Any idea how to fix this? |

Then you have not set the info correctly for the usergroups. This just reads from what is entered in the Username HTML Markup fields.
