Pre-configured password???
I want to have approximately 150 separate forums (or sub-forums, if that is more appropriate) . . . one for each of the more popular dog breeds. I want access to each separate breed forum limited to those who have registered in our online breeder directory for that breed. Perhaps a pre-configured password that I would provide to them, that must be used to join the forum? Is this possible? If so, where is the documentation? Any other ways to skin this cat?
I posted the above on the vBulletin.com support forum and got the following reply from wluke of the vBulletin Team: "What you are asking requires some changes in the underlying code of vBulletin. If you don't know how to program in PHP then you can post a request at vBulletin.org to see if someone can do it for you." Knowing only enough php to be dangerous, here I am. Can anyone help? Thanks |

Someone released this hack, "Forum Passwords" IIRC. Look in the Releases forum and good luck.
