When in the mod board I see a set of drop downs that aid in searching.
As shown in the image I attached

I have v4.2.1 can I set up something like that in certain boards of mine? Id love to be able to do so.

Are you not seeing this at the bottom of your forum thread listings?

I see that.. but it only shows the ability to sort by days or thread status...

Id like the ability to be able to use prefixes and Id like it above the threads like in the mod board.

Those are prefixes. You will need to sort your content via prefixes. Basically when someone posts they can add this prefix and then you will be able to sort accordingly.

I know they are prefixes.

I am asking how I can get the prefix field added to the sort box like on the mod page shown in my image., I am also asking how I can get that sort box above my threads in certain boards only like done in the mod area of this site.
