when i click on the General settings field i got that error at the top of the screen ?!

Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, object given in [path]/profile.php(2083) : eval()'d code on line 3

and i got the rest of the fields overlapping over each other as seen in the snapshot that i capture



My VBulletin version is 4.2.1

please help to solve this issue I'm a newbie for PHP and HTML language

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

i disabled them and the error is gone and every thing is back to normal but i want to re-enable the addons and fix this issue ?!

Turn them all back on. Then go to admincp>plugins and disable one at a time till you find out which one is causing the error.

Try uninstalling the product and re installing and see if you get the same error

the same error appear after uninstalling and re-installing also i re-uploaded the file through ftp !!
