What is Follow User?
Follow User from DragonByte Tech is a modification designed to allow members to follow one another in different social aspects of the forum. When a followed user completes an action such as a new post or a new thread, the followers receive either an email and/or PM updates based on their preference.

Follow User allows users to follow one another and get notifications when the member they follow complete certain actions.

Email and private messaging notifications, usergroup permission controls, and privacy options are all included in this product.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Major Features
Ability for users to follow each others posts / threads with a pm or email notification.

Privacy: Users can make it so their following is private.

General Settings:

• Option to toggle the Navtab on/off for vB v4.1.x
• Option to toggle the Quick Links and Community menu links on/off for vB v4.1.x
• Option to toggle plugin on or off.
• Ability to enter the closed reason if you turned the mod off via the above option.
• Option to hide the version number in the footer.
• Option to define who sends the PM notice.
• Option to show the PM senders signature in the pm sent to followers.
• Ability to choose which usergroups are allowed Private Follows.
• Option to show the users follow/following stats in the postbit.
• Ability to choose seven different locations to show the follow/following stats in the postbit.
• Option to show the users avatar on the Follow User settings page in the usercp.
• DBTech Affiliate ID support.

• Can Be Followed
• Can View User Follow
• Can Follow

This mod displays a copyright notification in the footer of Show Thread and product pages which includes:

Fixed the issue with the site url showing twice in the emails. To fix, redownload the zip and re import the xml.

The issue still persists. If I select PM, I get e-mails and vice-versa.

Bug Fixes And Issue Fixes:

• Fixed a issue where the link in the email was showing wrong, thus not redirecting you to the post / thread.
• Fixed a issue if you selected Private Message for the notification type you would get a email and visa-verse.

postbit is not showing actual numbers of following / followers

I'm following 2 moderators, but followers / following both show 0 / 0 instead of 0 / 2

I did repair cache too.

Show Users Follow Stats is enabled

Are you using one of the default locations to show the info in the postbit or did you insert that code to display it in a different location?

I unchecked the private box on both, repaired cache, refreshed and they still show zero
